For the many of you who are fans of Melissa Payne Baker's work, we think you will be thrilled by what she has brought to our "Softer Side" show.  Melissa, who constantly touches us with her kindness and thoughtfulness, has titled a series of small paintings in honor of her friends who have struggled with breast cancer.  We love Melissa's split artistic personality: There are her tender and ethereal paintings of angels and crosses, infused with special personal meaning for her, which have touched a chord with dozens of our clients.  Then, when we least expect it, Melissa surprises us with big, bold and purposeful abstracts in saturated and strong colors, that also happen to fly off the walls.  Just as we've loved her ability to switch gears, it is with great pride and pleasure that we've watched Melissa push her limitless creative boundaries.

For those of you who don't know Melissa, we're here to tell you that she is one of the hardest-working, most dedicated artist we know.  Not only is she an emerging artist of great talent, but her sunny disposition and thoroughly agreeable nature endear her to all who meet her.  We're so pleased to have her presence at this show and think you'll enjoy her colorful and bold abstracts. It's been fun for all of us to watch Melissa's evolution as an artist.
